We went kayaking/canoeing up at Blue Springs State Park, which is a fabulous place to spend a day by the way. Selah was a trooper, as usual. Even when the sky began to fall out, and thunder and lightning were crashing all around us, she held up okay. Did I mention that we were 10 minutes paddling time from shore when this happened? (What is it that they say about be no where near water during a thunderstorm?...) Oh, and did I say that it was raining so hard, that it rendered me virtually blind? And did I mention that we had just seen 2 ginormous alligators that made finding shelter on the nearby island a little risky? Phew.
Well, we didn't die. And, she doesn't seem to exhibit any symptoms of PTSD at this point. Thank God. And she even still goes swimming and boating with no problems...I will add this to my list of things I need to apologize for when she is old enough to forgive me... :)

Being responsible about UV rays AND being super cute while she's at it...
This is what a little (alot of) water will do to a picture apparently...It kinda looks like I got all creative on the edit with a vintage photo, but no. It's water damage...
