What's Selah been up to?

So, since the bug turned 2 years old I continue to be amazed daily by her new abilities. Her vocabulary amazes me. She is quite the chatty little one...sometimes it wears me out, as I am her regular conversation partner and there is only so many ways that I can answer the same question over and over again... :) I have a little scab on my hand and every time she sees it, she asks if she can kiss the ouwee for me. Yesterday she asked if that same ouwee was "spicy?" Lol. She has lots of word and uses them appropriately most of the time, but that one was a hoot.

She likes to watch the "skwers" right outside of her bedroom window. She does not have the "L" sound downpat just yet, so that's code for squirrel. "What's the skwer doing mommy?" "You see the skwer mommy?" is on repeat for 15 minutes at a time. Super cute.

Here are some of the other things she enjoys most right now:

She feeds the dog every morning. Sometimes without a reminder.

She is meticulous. When she drops some food, she will sit there

until every little piece is picked up.

She helps with the laundry. Really, she does.

And she gets a huge kick out of it too. She emptied out

the whole bin below...

She likes to "run fast"

She sports the "bead head" quite often. That hair is unruly!

Sad to say that she has my hair from when I was a kid, I think. :(

She LOVES to paint.

And occasionally even paints herself.....whoops!

She loves to go to the playground!

And to go and hang out with the ducks and...

ginormous swans at Lake Eola. This picture clearly does not

do this bird justice. He probably weighs 60 pounds. I would not

want to get on his bad side.

And she spends all of her time just being super cute.
