Problemo #1: A hall pantry with glass displaying toiletries. :(
Solution: A little fabric @ 40% off with my trusty JoAnn's coupons and a staplegun
Finished product: A Pottery barn catalog inspired hall pantry. :)
Problem #2: A bunch of dangly earrings that had overrun my old creative idea for storage (which was an ice cube tray). It got to the point that I couldn't find the matches, or they all would get stuck together. I don't have a before picture because I was so excited to have a solution that I didn't take a shot of the rat's nest before I organized it.
Solution: An etsy-inspired hanging earring display. Folks are selling these babies, but mounted in picture frames instead. My spin off makes it so that you can have a design behind the netting instead of a bare wall or whatever. Again, shout out to JoAnn's for infinite coupons. I used a quilter's circle thingy, some netting, ribbon, a little piece of fabric and ole' faithful...Mr. HotGlueGun himself. I would love it if just once when I was using a hot glue gun, I would not burn the crap out of myself...but I digress...
I have had these empty planters on the front stoop since we moved in, but just now picked up some pretties to dress it up. I am not very good at arranging plants for display in pots or vases, so hopefully as it grows it will fill in and look beautious.
Well, hello front door:
Lastly, here are a few shots that I took while practicing my other ongoing project, which is learning how to really use my camera like the manual instructs. Here's the little bug engaging in one of her favorite pasttimes:
And, here is our mailbox. Life changing, I know...you would be happy to know that this shot did not work well in a low aperture. It did much better at an f-stop of 8. :)

loving the pics and projects here...just loving them :)
Your blog is so fun to read! I LOVE projects too!!! Made a rug for our bedroom out of materials from Hobby Lobby for $25. Yep. I really think ministry wives require creativity....
LOVE your cabinet windows! the material is fun and has a funky edge...and covers a multitude of stuff. =) great idea and great execution!
The quilter circle thingie is called a quilter's hoop. There are also ones for embroidery: embroidery hoop. Love your projects, love your writing style, I feel like we are having a conversation. Fun.
